Biography
Songqing Chen has taught at George Mason University since 2004. Chen's areas of interest and expertise are Internet content delivery systems, Internet measurements and modeling, system security, and distributed systems. In addition to the National Science Foundation CAREER and AFOSR Young Investigator Awards, he has received the George Mason University Emerging Researcher, Scholar, and Creator Award, the Volgenau Rising Star Faculty Award, and the Department of Computer Science Outstanding Research Award (three times).

2015 - 2018: NeTS Small: Towards Energy-efficient Internet Mobile Streaming. Funded by the National Science Foundation.
2011 - 2016 : CSR: Small: System Research to Advance Real-time Dust Storm Forecasting. Funded by the National Science Foundation.
2015 - 2015: Moving Target Defense Through Dynamic Virtual Machine Placement in Clouds. Funded by the US Department of the Army.
